The story behind the comic: For those who don't know what HTTP error codes are, I shall explain. When you go to a site, your browser sends a request, if something is wrong, the server gives an error. You can read about the codes in detail at http://www.w3schools.com/tags/ref_httpmessages.asp I was teaching myself server languages, hypertext preprocessor to be exact, and was looking at the server error or message codes. You may have seen a 404 error, when a page doesn't exist, but you most likely not have seen a 410 error. This one means Gone, the server can't find the page, though this will most likely be rendered as a 404. As I was looking at these, the 410 error caught Pyrochan's attention, and we just adopted that as the comic's name. Other than that there is no real connection between the comic and it's name
